Customer focused approach
- Identify the needs of each customer and tailor specific solutions that create value, revenue, and profitability for Metalex.
- Interact directly with customers to provide status updates and fulfill service needs including but not limited to order processing and delivery timeline communications.Â
- Maintain product knowledge and understanding of customer needs/requirements.
- Maintain accurate customer profile information.
- Actively retrieve purchase orders from customer portals.
Drive for results
- Develop and implement business plans and sales strategies for targeted accounts to achieve assigned sales goals.
- Consistently meet customer outreach objectives by actively contacting customers through phone calls, email and meetings.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of customer interactions, pipeline, and sales activities.
- Meet and exceed sales results, company goals and customer satisfaction including customer scorecards.
Collaboration
- Capture customer job and part information and accurately maintain updates within the Company’s processes and ERP system
- Oversee and ensure successful fulfillment of orders, working closely Production Planning, Warehousing and Purchasing to ensure on-time delivery and communicate changes or delays to the customer.
- Ensure accurate, detailed information to internal and external partners.
- Maintain adaptability – ability to work independently as well as a member of our team
- Manage all customer relationships with internal business partners to help ensure timely resolution of the order to cash process.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Communications or Marketing.
- 1-2 years Inside Sales experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good proficiency utilizing Microsoft Excel including V-lookups, Pivot tables, etc.
- CRM experience preferred
SAP experience preferred
