This position is responsible for monitoring and expediting engineering deliverables as required by the Project Management group.  Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Create master schedule for each assigned project. Coordinate each function’s project deliverable within the project scope. Weekly communication, planning and organization of an overall integrated schedule, including engineering, procurement, and construction activities to support the execution of contracts Review overall project schedules and make determinations on how internal/external deliveries impact project milestones or other key project activities. Assess potential delays or problems with the receipt and/or productions of deliverables (internally or externally). Communicate issues to Project Manager with recommended action plan for recovery       Integrate separate schedules or sub-networks from outside partners into a master schedule. Analyze and determine schedule logic and overall critical path Compile, analyze and report project performance indicators to Project Management. Facilitate project discussions and develop additional tools required to control the risks associated with the projects Work in close coordination with Document Control Coordinator to monitor and manage contract documents as they move through the work-flow processes; anticipate delay/bottlenecks and appropriately communicate timeline adjustments based on contract changes         Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned  Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field preferred 5+ years project controls experience in engineering and/or construction field Characteristics and Skills: Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the project scheduling software (i.e., Oracle P6) Well-developed understanding of project scheduling methods and techniques (WBS development, schedule and resource loading, critical path analysis). Ability to apply scheduling techniques in a multi-project environment dealing with multiple engineers, contractors, and sub-contractors Possess an understanding of engineering/construction sequencing and methods Perform variance analysis on earned value, productivity trends and critical path analysis, as required; anticipate problems, communicate, and advise the Project Management team on impacts to baseline, participate in developing planned recoveries Ability to determine schedule impact from contractor change orders Ability to integrate risk identification and analysis into integrated schedule Highly effective in working in a team environment with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Demonstrated ability to achieve results through others. Both process-centric and results-oriented Hands-on, pragmatic.
