Commonwealth Medical Services is seeking a dedicated Endocrinologist to join our growing specialty practice in Lima, Ohio. This position offers an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive care for patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders while working within a collaborative healthcare system committed to clinical excellence. The physician will manage a diverse patient population with conditions including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, and other endocrine conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based medicine.
  • Manage patients with diabetes through medication management, technology, and lifestyle interventions.
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialty providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients regarding disease management, medications, nutrition, and preventive health.
  • Maintain complete and accurate medical documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education.
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Fellowship training in Endocrinology.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
  • Eligible for unrestricted Ohio medical licensure.
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care.
