WOCAP, a local non-profit organization, is seeking qualified candidates for a Family Support Worker. This position is 40 hours per week, full year position. 


Responsibilities include: 

1. Establishing mutually respectful partnerships with families as they support the family's efforts to reach their goals or interest in our program.

2. Assist the children and families by ensuring coordination, facilitation, identification, enrollment, and provision of individual services including all health services in accordance with Child Development Services Performance Standards, licensing regulations, and WOCAP policies and procedures. 

3. Work with the Health team to ensure that all children receive health and health related services by connecting them to resources. 

4. Assisting families to complete required paperwork to ensure all services are provided. 

5. Facilitate on-site parent orientation meetings and complete two home visits annually, acting as an advocate for the family and supporting them in all services. 


Requirements include: 

MUST be able to pass drug screen and background check. 

Associates degree in Social Services or Human services. Effective communication, and ability to assist and relate to a diverse population. 

Valid Ohio driver's license, current vehicle insurance, and privately-owned vehicle during working hours required. Ability to check electronic mail, enter data into program-specific software for required reports, and Internet skills required.
