Commonwealth Medical Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Rheumatologist to join our specialty care team in Lima, Ohio. This position offers the opportunity to diagnose and manage a broad range of autoimmune and musculoskeletal disorders while working collaboratively with primary care physicians and specialty providers. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care that improves patients' quality of life through early diagnosis, treatment, and long-term disease management.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing current evidence-based guidelines.
  • Monitor patients receiving immunomodulatory and biologic therapies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients regarding disease processes, medications, and treatment expectations.
  • Maintain complete and accurate medical documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education.
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Fellowship training in Rheumatology.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology.
  • Eligible for unrestricted Ohio medical licensure.
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
