Video Editor
Work Type: Full-time (40 hours/week).
Schedule: Fixed US business hours. Note: This is not a flexible schedule role, and weekend availability may be required to meet strict client deadlines.
Location: 100% Remote.
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to join our fast-paced creative team. You will work under tight deadlines to support external client projects, editing both short-form and long-form content for delivery across digital platforms. This is a client-facing support role that requires consistency, speed, and a strong grasp of brand-aligned storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing & Production: Edit raw video footage into final versions ready for client delivery. Incorporate transitions, animations, motion graphics, subtitles, and sound design.
Platform Formatting: Format deliverables for various digital platforms and aspect ratios (e.g., 1:1, 16:9, 9:16).
Quality & Brand Alignment: Ensure all content adheres to specific brand style guides and client expectations. Handle revision requests efficiently while maintaining strict quality standards.
Asset Management: Manage project files, raw assets, and version tracking in an organized manner using Google Drive and Dropbox.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with the creative and project management teams via Slack and Notion to manage tasks and meet client deadlines.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience & Portfolio: At least 1–2 years of professional video editing experience. Must provide a strong editing portfolio showcasing social content, promos, or ad creatives.
Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro. Comfortable navigating file management tools, team communication platforms.
Core Competencies: High attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to work on multiple edits in parallel while adhering to fixed schedules and strict deadlines.
Remote Infrastructure: Must have a dedicated, noise-free home office setup equipped with a reliable, high-speed internet connection and a backup power source.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus):
Familiarity and experience with Adobe After Effects.
Prior experience working in an agency environment or a direct client-facing role.
