In addition to commuter services to and from Manhattan and New Jersey, we offer an array of special events, sightseeing cruises and tours, daytrips, and getaways year-round.

Job Summary:

Seastreak is now hiring Customer Service Agents to work in our Providence, RI office and our New Bedford MA. office.

Hours may vary, but current shifts are:

Monday-Sunday: 7:30 AM- 3:30 PM, 12:00- 8:00 PM

Holiday availability required.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answering phones
  • Selling tickets and making reservations by phone and in person, using an online booking system
  • Responding to customer questions and inquiries
  • Scanning tickets as passengers board
  • Organizing passenger lines
  • Gather and organize supply orders for the vessel as needed

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School diploma
  • Experience in customer service (preferred)
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) after being hired. Certain felonies may exclude you from obtaining one.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to learn and successfully navigate an online reservation system.
  • Can provide the highest level of customer service and professionalism to all passengers.
  • Willingness to familiarize oneself with Seastreak’s current offerings and schedules to best assist customers.
