Position Description

As the Direct Service Area Manager, you will provide leadership, supervision, and operational oversight for your assigned service area. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervising and supporting a team of Family Support Specialists (FSS), including coaching, performance feedback, and annual evaluations.
  • Monitoring staffing levels, caseloads, service coverage, and documentation to ensure quality service delivery and compliance.
  • Scheduling and adjusting staff assignments to meet referral requirements and organizational needs.
  • Conducting monthly one-on-one supervision meetings with assigned staff.
  • Participating in the management on-call rotation, including emergency response and service coverage during assigned weekends.
  • Collaborating with caseworkers, foster parents, probation officers, community partners, and families to ensure effective communication and coordinated services.
  • Ensuring compliance with agency policies, DHHS, Child and Family Services, Probation requirements, and applicable laws.
  • Reviewing documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance while working with the Quality Assurance team to resolve any concerns.
  • Providing leadership that promotes accountability, professionalism, positive team culture, and excellent customer service.
  • Attending required meetings, court hearings, and leadership functions as necessary.
  • Maintaining an in-office presence of at least four days per week while remaining available to support staff and program operations.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by executive leadership to support organizational goals and service excellence.
