This role requires working in the office five days a week (Monday–Friday) at our Lincoln, NE location


Position Summary

The electrical engineer will operate within an electronics manufacturing environment for production support, learn existing designs, work with a multi-discipline team, and interact with offshore suppliers. Be responsible for troubleshooting/debugging circuits and software, concept designs, schedules, cost reduction, and quality analysis. Applicants must be capable of growing their skills to encompass the wide range of circuits included in the products manufactured. This is an onsite position located at our Lincoln, NE office.  

Essential Job Functions

  • Work with systems and products involving radio frequency (RF)
  • Work in a low volume high mix production manufacturing facility. 
  • Will work with statistical process control, failure mode analysis, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide assistance to production lines in working with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Debugging hardware and software.
  • Communicate well, self-driven with a problem solver mentality.
  • Strong electronics troubleshooting ability, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and simultaneously manage multiple project deliverables.
  • Provide assistance to manufacturing and repair personnel for troubleshooting malfunctions in components and systems.
  • Prepare design, manufacturing, and process documentation.
  • Select and specify electronic and electrical components based on function, cost, availability, reliability, etc. for the use in the products manufactured. Assist purchasing and quality control in resolving technical questions or difficulties.

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor of Science Electrical Electronics Engineering
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in design engineering and product engineering roles.
  • Proficient with the use of necessary tools including multi-meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and data acquisition systems.
  • Good technical writing skills.
  • Strong electronic debugging and computer skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
