Duties
- Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and current medications to ensure comprehensive records.
- Support physicians and healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
- Administer medications and injections following established protocols while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Support medical administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and patient education to enhance overall service experience.
- Help with prior authorizations and record review and chart prepping
Skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology, immunization and medication administration protocols.
- Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate communication and attention to detail during intake and vital sign collection.
- Proficiency with EHR systems for accurate charting and documentation of patient information.
- Knowledge of family practice protocols and experience supporting inpatient or outpatient careÂ
- 1+ years of experience in Family Medicine
Pay: $18.00 - $32.00 per hour based on experience/certification/degree
