Salary: $18.00-$21.00/hr

Schedule:  Full time; Tuesday through Saturday,  9am – 5:30pm

SELF-STARTER?  HANDYMAN?  RELIABLE? Benchmark Senior Living’s campus in Lincoln, MA is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. A successful candidate plays a vital role in the property's day-to-day impression on existing and prospective residents. Would be expected to maintain a high level of quality customer service and professionalism while ensuring that all Benchmark maintenance policies and procedures are consistently followed.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform both minor and major repairs (light electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, HVAC.)
  • Proper use of tools, equipment and chemicals (hand tools such as drills, saws)
  • Mail deliveries
  • Trash removal for common areas
  • Aid in maintaining common areas and grounds
  • Respond to resident service requests and concerns in a timely manner 
  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with our residents, coworkers, vendors and visitors

EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience 
  • Willingness and capability to respond to site emergencies
  • Ability to learn software application - work order system
  • Experience with all phases of building maintenance including knowledge of electricity, plumbing, painting, carpentry and HVAC systems is a plus
