The Lincoln NE manufacturing plant has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Technician! As a Quality Technician you will play a key role in supporting Schneider Electric’s Quality System and driving improvements to products and processes. This position will include a high level of interaction with other teams such as Production, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, and Design / Continuous Engineering. It is expected that problem analysis and troubleshooting of Quality issues will take a significant portion of your time in this position.

This will be a 1st Shift position.

What will you do?

Document Control – and Quality System Management Integrated ISO
Management System Audit support
Development and delivery of training documents and methods
Toll gate inspection for materials being shipped to sister plants
Incoming inspection support. This would be for vendor changes, quality issues with current vendors, initial shipments from new vendors.
Line audit support
Perform FAIRs and LAIRs as needed to support new vendors or product lines
Support in-house product testing requirements
Participate on PFMEA teams
PPEP support
Participate / Lead 8D initiatives and continuous improvement activities
Participate in Board of Change Activities

What qualifications will make you successful?

You hold an Associates Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, Electrical/Electromechanical, Computer Technology, Precision Machining/Automation, Non-Destructive Testing, or equivalent is required - Bachelor Degree Preferred
You have working knowledge of 6 Sigma concepts and methodologies is preferred
Certifications an advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma
You are proficient in structured problem-solving methods (5-Why, Fishbone, 8D)
You have experience with quality inspection, auditing and test experience
You have experience with implementation of corrective action programs
You have product or industry-specific experience
You have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Databases
You have knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of Quality Assurance

Pay Range: $54.4k - $81.6k
