TMCO is seeking a full-time Quality Technician to support our machining operations. This role is responsible for inspecting machined parts, supporting production through accurate and timely inspections, and assisting with CMM programming. The ideal candidate will have experience in machining quality or a strong machining background with the ability to interpret complex prints.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in machining, inspection, or a related manufacturing environment
  • Strong blueprint reading skills, including GD&T and complex part interpretation
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments 
  • Familiarity with CMM operation and/or programming (PC-DMIS preferred)
  • Ability to understand tight tolerances and machined part requirements 
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections on machined parts
  • Support and/or develop CMM programs for complex parts
  • Complete first article inspections (PPAP, AS9102)
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings to ensure compliance with specifications 
  • Maintain quality records and inspection reports
  • Perform gage control and calibration activities
  • Verify quality of sub-contracted machining processes 
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Other duties as assigned
