Scheduling Coordinator — Keep Care Moving at Lincoln's Top-Rated Independent Practice

Full-Time | Lincoln, NE | Primary Care Partners

Behind every smooth patient visit is someone who made the calendar work. As our Scheduling Coordinator, you're the quiet engine that keeps care flowing — the person who turns a full day of appointments into a well-run rhythm instead of a scramble. If you get satisfaction from bringing order to a busy day and helping people get the care they need when they need it, this role was made for you.

Why Primary Care Partners?

We're an independent, physician-led practice — which means our decisions are driven by what's best for patients and staff, not a corporate directive from out of state. That independence is part of why we were named a Top 5 Finalist in the 2025 Lincoln's Choice Awards and why our clinics are known for integrity, quality, and genuine respect for the people we serve.

We've grown to three Lincoln locations because patients trust us — and that growth means real opportunity for the people who help us run well. Great work gets noticed here.

What You'll Do

You'll be the organizational hub that keeps providers on schedule and patients cared for:

  • Build and manage appointment schedules across multiple providers, keeping the day flowing smoothly
  • Connect with patients to confirm, reschedule, and answer questions with warmth and clarity
  • Use scheduling software to keep records accurate and appointment flow optimized
  • Partner with clinical and front-office staff to anticipate scheduling needs and resolve conflicts before they snowball
  • Spot patterns in the schedule and find smart ways to cut wait times and improve the patient experience

What Makes You a Great Fit

You don't need a mile-long résumé — you need the right instincts. We're looking for someone who is:

  • Organized to the core — juggling multiple calendars feels like a puzzle you enjoy solving
  • A natural communicator — you keep patients and providers informed and at ease, even on a packed day
  • Detail-driven — you catch the double-booking before it happens
  • Calm under pressure — a busy phone and a full schedule energize you rather than rattle you
  • A team player — you know a good schedule keeps the whole clinic running

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a scheduling or administrative role — healthcare setting a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bonus points: Associate's degree in healthcare administration or a related field, experience with EHR systems, and familiarity with medical terminology

What You'll Get

We invest in the people who keep our practice running:

  • 401(k)
  • Health, Dental & Vision insurance
  • Life & Disability insurance
  • Paid Time Off
  • A supportive, close-knit team and the stability of a growing, locally-owned practice

Ready to bring order to something that matters?

If you want a scheduling role where your organizational skills directly help people access quality care — and where you're valued as part of the team — we'd love to meet you. Apply today and help us keep doing right by the people of Lincoln.
