Responsibilities:
- Learn and assist with daily in-house plastic fabrication.
- Read and work from drawings, schematics, and job specs.
- Perform metal and plastic fabrication and welding, including:
- PVC, CPVC, PP, PVDF
- Stainless steel and carbon steel
- Assist with in-field plastic repairs and installation.
- Work with materials containing or in proximity to hazardous chemicals.
- Troubleshoot equipment and system issues.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Travel to customer sites throughout New England
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe job site

Requirements:
- Experience working in industrial or process environments
- Hands-on knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
- Chemical process piping
- Industrial electrical systems
- Metal welding and fabrication – TIG/MIG
- Plastic welding and fabrication
- Industrial water or wastewater treatment systems
- Ability to read and follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer and writing skills for job reporting and communication
- Ability to read and understand drawings and technical documents
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight jobs.
- Willingness and ability to meet deadlines.

- Trade school, certifications, or formal training in welding, electrical, or plumbing
- OSHA or other safety certifications

Physical Requirements
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of the week are Monday – Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and handle tools, materials, and equipment approx.. 60 lbs.
- Comfortable working in industrial environments, including standing, climbing, working flat rooftops, and confined spaces
- This job operates in a service shop environment both on company and customer site locations. This role routinely uses hand and power tools as well as office equipment such as laptop computers, and smartphones.
- Must pass standard drug screening and background check

Required License and certifications
- Demonstrated mechanical work experience service-based organization preferred.
- Associate degree, technical certification, or post-secondary certificate in related discipline is preferred.
- Must have a valid, unexpired driver’s license.
- Good driving record.
