About the Role:

The Toolroom Receiving and Warehouse Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes at Lincoln Tool & Design Co. This position is responsible for the accurate receiving, inspection, and storage of tools and materials and purchased components, which are essential for production. The specialist will maintain inventory accuracy and organization, ensuring that all items are readily available for use by the production team. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with various departments to streamline operations and improve workflow efficiency. Ultimately, the success of this position directly impacts the overall productivity and quality of our manufacturing output.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections.
  • Ability to safely lift 50 lbs.  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with inventory management software.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating different types of warehouse equipment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tool specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials and purchased components for quality and accuracy against purchase orders.
  • Organize and maintain the toolroom and warehouse, ensuring all items are stored properly and easily accessible.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure component lists are accurate and report discrepancies as needed.
  • Collaborate with production teams to understand tool production requirements and ensure timely availability of necessary materials.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track and manage material and component usage effectively.
  • Other duties as assigned which could include but is not limited to:  cutting or cleaning material, covering for others in their absence and working with finance on various transactions to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Work towards all elements described in the company code including integrity, customer focus, teamwork, humility and a willingness to always learn.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere with customers and fellow employees.    
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
