Ameritas is looking for a Marketing Intern - Communications to drive the business by assisting the team in the development, production and implementation of the Company's corporate relations both internally and externally as the champion for ensuring the Company's brand is properly and consistently articulated in written and digital communications.Ā

This is a hybrid role in Lincoln, NE working partially in-office and partially from home starting in May 2027.

What you doĀ 

  • Assist with executing internal communication plans. This may include but is not limited to:Ā 
  • Conducting researchĀ 
  • Gathering photosĀ 
  • Engaging in the writing and editing processĀ Ā 
  • Publishing articlesĀ 
  • Collect agenda items for weekly meetingsĀ 
  • Track and record metrics for internal communicationsĀ 
  • Other projects as assignedĀ Ā 

What you bringĀ 

  • Enrolled in a college program at least part-time for the entire course of the internship studying Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or another related field.Ā 
  • Able to fulfill a year-round commitment – part-time (PT) during the academic school year and full-time (FT) during the summerĀ 
  • PT includes 10-20 hours a weekĀ 
  • FT includes 30-40 hours a weekĀ 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skillsĀ 
  • Ability to adapt to change, possess strong relationship-building skills and take initiativeĀ 
  • Interest in marketing communication strategiesĀ 
  • Ability to ask questions and write accurately about the businessĀ 
  • Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectivelyĀ
