Ameritas is looking for a Marketing Intern - Community Relations to drive the business by assisting the team in the development, production and implementation of the Company's corporate relations both internally and externally. This intern will ensure the Company's brand is properly and consistently represented through community partnerships.Ā

This internship will begin in May 2027. This is a hybrid role in Lincoln, NE working partially in-office and partially from home.Ā 

What you doĀ 

  • Process and track donation budgetsĀ 
  • Connect and collaborate with local nonprofit organizations and their staffĀ 
  • Assist with community sponsorship messaging, tracking, research and planningĀ 
  • Manage community relations databases using Ameritas’ digital platformĀ 
  • Provide support in writing internal and external communicationsĀ 
  • Other projects as assignedĀ 

What you bringĀ 

  • Must be enrolled in a college program at least half-time as defined by your institution for the entire duration of the internship studying Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Hospitality or another related field.Ā 
  • Ability to commit to a 12-month internship working full-time in the summer and part-time during the school year. Ā 
  • Full-time hours: 30-40 hours per week Ā 
  • Part-time hours: 15-20 hours perĀ weekĀ 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skillsĀ 
  • Ability to adapt to change, build strong relationships, and take initiativeĀ 
  • Interest in event planning, design, and administrative workĀ 
  • Sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentĀ
