Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient in MIG and TIG welding across various materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, stainless)
- Ability to independently set up and operate welding equipment
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
- Experience using standard welding tools and equipment (grinders, clamps, measuring tools)
- Ability to work effectively within a team and follow verbal and written work instructions
Job Duties
- Perform welding tasks in multiple positions and directions as required by project specifications
- Operate grinders or other tools to clean or finish welded joints for functionality or cosmetic purposes
- Inspect and clean welds to ensure they meet visual and dimensional standards
- Follow established safety protocols while working with welding equipment and hot materials
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment
