Focus area:  Emergency Protection Programs

We are looking for a high-potential Graduate Intern to join our Protection Products team focusing on our Emergency Protection Programs. Our programs provide essential peace of mind through services like roadside assistance, emergency travel and medical assistance, and specialized insurance-adjacent products.  You will spend your internship at the intersection of project management, account growth, and financial analysis, learning how to scale high-value service programs while maintaining healthy margins and a balanced portfolio of products and services.

What You'll Do:

1. Project & Program Management

  • Coordinate between cross-functional teams—including operations, legal, and marketing—to ensure a seamless customer experience.

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and propose data-driven solutions to improve service efficiency.

2. Account Management & Growth

  • Assist in managing relationships and invoicing of corporate partners, underwriters, and service vendors.

  • Prepare for and participate in client business reviews, focusing on program performance and "voice of the customer" feedback.

  • Research market trends to identify new features or service enhancements that could drive program growth and competitive advantage.

3. Financial Management & P&L Training

  • Work closely with leadership to understand the mechanics of the Protection Program P&L, including fee structures, service costs, and loss ratios.

  • Assist in the monthly financial reporting process, analyzing revenue vs. expenses to ensure programs are hitting profitability targets.

  • Help build financial models and business cases for new program launches or pricing adjustments.

  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as attachment rates, claim/service utilization, and cost-per-incident.

What You'll Need to Have for the Role:

Required:

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree (MBA, Finance, Business Management, or a related field).

  • Excellent project management skills; ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical skills

  • High level of professionalism suitable for client-facing account management.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office product suite

Preferred:

  • Interest or experience in insurance, fintech, or membership-based business models.

  • A "business owner" mindset—you are naturally curious about how a company makes money and stays profitable.

Pay Range:

In addition to competitive pay, we offer Paid Time Off, 401(k), an Employee Assistance Program, Good Sam Roadside Assistance, discounts, paid parental leave (if eligibility is met), Tuition Reimbursement (if eligibility is met), and on the job training opportunities.
