Join our team as an Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist and be at the core of the financial operations that keep our business moving. In this onsite role located in Lincolnshire, IL, you’ll play a central role in executing accurate, timely, and compliant accounts payable and receivable processes—ensuring vendor obligations are met, customer balances are well managed, and financial records are maintained with precision. As a key contributor to the accounting team, you’ll work cross‑functionally while consistently applying ITW principles, procedures, and internal controls to support operational excellence.

What You Will Do and Impact
Accounts Payable and Receivable Functions
Process, review, and post accounts payable invoices accurately within the Great Plains accounting system.
Prepare and issue vendor payments in accordance with established timelines and internal controls.
Manage accounts receivable activities, including collections efforts and posting of customer cash receipts.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records to support audits, reporting, and operational reviews.
Customer and Vendor Support
Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor and customer inquiries via phone and email.
Gather and maintain new customer and vendor documentation, ensuring records are complete and compliant.
Collaborate with internal staff to research and resolve invoice discrepancies or irregularities in a timely manner.
Process Support and Administrative Excellence
Maintain organized filing systems for invoices and supporting documentation.
Perform clerical and administrative duties related to AP and AR functions as needed.
Support continuous improvement by ensuring data integrity and adherence to established accounting procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the accounting team and business objectives.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
A minimum of five (5) years of relevant accounts payable, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping experience required.
ERP and Financial Reporting software experience is required.
Computer proficiency, including advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word is required.

Compensation InformationÂ
The annual base rate for this position is $ 23.37 – 27.45 per hour. Please note that this compensation information serves as a general guideline.
