Service Technician – Label Printers & Scanners
OverviewThe Service Technician plays a key role in supporting our clients and internal teams by providing expert maintenance, repair, and technical support for label printers and scanners. This is an in-shop position focused on diagnostics, troubleshooting, programming, and customer support. Experience with label printers is highly beneficial, though strong mechanical and technical aptitude is equally valued.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on label printers and scanners
• Diagnose hardware issues and complete timely in-shop repairs
• Handle technical support calls with clients, providing clear guidance and solutions
• Support regional sales managers with technical insights, product configuration, and customer needs
• Program printers and scanners to meet client-specific requirements, including setup, configuration, and testing
• Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and inventory of parts
• Collaborate with team members to improve service processes and customer satisfaction
• Will be responsible for lifting and transfering Computer equipments
• Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with label printers, barcode scanners, or related equipment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and programming instructions
• Excellent communication skills for both customer interactions and internal support
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, hands-on technical environment
• Basic understanding of networking or device connectivity is a plus
