Position Summary:

The Inside Sales Coordinator plays a key role in supporting daily sales and purchasingĀ 
operations by tracking incoming and outgoing materials, coordinating orders,Ā 
maintaining accurate records, and communicating with both customers and internalĀ 
teams. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment,Ā 
enjoys organization and problem-solving and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:


• Receive and process purchased scrap materialsĀ 
• Create and manage sales ordersĀ 
• Track purchased and sold materials using Microsoft ExcelĀ 
• Communicate order statuses with yard operations and outside salesĀ 
representativesĀ 
• Maintain and update the master shipment log for all incoming and outgoingĀ 
materialsĀ 
• Complete IFTA reportingĀ 
• Manage Samsara reporting and trackingĀ 
• Log and organize invoices accuratelyĀ 
• Support daily office operations and administrative functions as neededĀ 

Required Qualifications:


• Prior inside sales experienceĀ 
• Previous office experience in a professional environmentĀ 
• Strong organizational and time-management skillsĀ 
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced settingĀ 
• Excellent data entry skills with strong attention to detail and accuracyĀ 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and ExcelĀ 
• Strong written and verbal communication skillsĀ 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentĀ 

Preferred:


• Experience working with railroad materials or within the railroad industryĀ 
• Experience using Sage or similar accounting softwareĀ
