Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Stockton, CA

Shifts: Friday–Tuesday | 10PM–6AM

What You’ll Do

As a Direct Support Professional, you will help individuals live meaningful, independent, and fulfilling lives. You will support their daily routines, personal goals, safety, and overall well-being.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Follow and support daily routines as outlined in each client’s Individual Program Plan (IPP)

  • Participate in developing and supporting IPP/ISP goals

  • Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment

  • Support socialization, recreation, community activities, and family visits

  • Assist with personal care (grooming, toileting, dressing, hygiene)

  • Prepare meals and assist with clean-up

  • Transport clients using company vans (as needed)

  • Report any incidents or concerns and communicate regularly with administrators

  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Education & Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience (professional or personal)

    • Preferred: experience with developmental disabilities, mental health, or challenging behaviors

  • DSP Certificate Year 1 & Year 2 and CPI certification

  • First Aid/CPR (preferred or obtainable within 30 days)

  • Must be at least 21 years old

  • Valid California Driver’s License

  • Must pass all pre-employment screenings, including background check


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs

  • Able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
