Parts Delivery Driver (Full-Time)

Position Summary
The Full-Time Parts Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of parts, equipment, and materials to customers, job sites, vendors, and Goodfellow Corporation locations. This position also supports warehouse operations by receiving inventory, pulling and staging orders, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and assisting with general warehouse organization. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions

- Deliver parts, components, and materials to customers and job sites in a safe and timely manner.
- Transport parts between Goodfellow branch locations and warehouses as needed.
- Verify deliveries for accuracy before loading and unloading vehicles.
- Load, unload, secure, and protect materials during transport.
- Operate company vehicles safely while following all federal, state, and local traffic regulations.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
- Pull, stage, package, and prepare customer orders for shipment or delivery.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips.
- Assist with inventory organization, stocking, cycle counts, and warehouse cleanliness.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Use RF scanners or other inventory management devices to process inventory transactions.
- Assist customers loading materials when needed.
- Maintain professional communication and provide outstanding customer service during deliveries.
- Follow all company safety policies, including OSHA and MSHA requirements where applicable.
- Assist with additional warehouse or parts department duties as assigned.

Work Environment
This position requires a combination of driving, warehouse, and outdoor work. Employees will regularly work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow. Warehouse duties involve exposure to moving equipment, forklifts, and industrial machinery. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
Physical Demands
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally lift more than 50 pounds with assistance or appropriate equipment.
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and reach throughout the workday.
- Sit for extended periods while operating company vehicles.
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Travel Requirements
- Local travel is required daily.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required and will be reimbursed according to company policy.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.
- Ability to obtain and maintain MSHA certification.
- Ability to become forklift certified.
- Ability to legally work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Previous delivery driving experience.
- Previous warehouse, inventory, or parts department experience.
- Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with RF scanners, inventory software, or ERP systems.
