Schwieters Companies hiring a full-time Prefinish Shortline Machine Operator to join our team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare all material before loading onto prefinish machine
Load/unload material properly onto/off the prefinish machine
Accountable for the product and assembly you are working on
Pick material using a stand/sit forklift
Manage orders to be completed in full and on time
Use a scanner gun to check inventory and properly adjust material locations
Inspect all material for quality
Have constant communication with department lead on progress with work orders
Work together with a team throughout the warehouse to achieve maximum efficiency with 100% complete and on-time deliveries
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous machine operating experience (prefinish/millwork experience a plus)
Comfortable learning to operate and use a forklift (previous forklift experience preferred)
Candidate must have a good work history
Able to lift 50+ pounds
Self-motivated, self-directed team player and team builder
Able to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions, have good communication skills (verbal and written), and be detail oriented
Capable of standing for extended periods of time
Flexible in working overtime when necessary
Other duties as assigned

WORK SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm, overtime as needed (1st shift)

PAY

$22-$23/hr. (1st shift)
