The Opportunity
Are you ready to shape the future of global security? The Intelligence Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Senior Policy Analyst to work in our Linthicum, MD location. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience supporting a U.S. Government partner’s enterprise policy and strategic planning initiatives. In this mission, we provide comprehensive operational, analytical, and policy support to strengthen governance frameworks and align enterprise strategy with national priorities. You will conduct high-impact research, manage policy development projects, and facilitate interagency collaboration. This role directly supports leadership decision-making at the enterprise level.

Contract Status: Proposal Phase/Contingent Upon Award.

What you'll be doing:Â
The Senior Policy Analyst conducts comprehensive research and analysis on complex enterprise policy issues using diverse sources and methods. This includes in-depth research using academic literature, government reports, stakeholder consultations, and data analysis while assessing policy effectiveness. Responsibilities include identifying emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities and maintaining accurate records.
The individual manages complex policy projects from start to finish, developing project plans, timelines, and dependencies. They establish and maintain enterprise policy frameworks, monitor implementation progress, and resolve issues as needed. This role involves developing policy proposals, engaging stakeholders, facilitating consensus, and preparing executive communication materials. The analyst responds to inquiries and ensures clear and concise information is provided across federal and industry partners.
Needed Experience, Skills, and Education:Â
Bachelor’s degree and 10 or more years of total professional experience.
7+ years of federal or DoD policy experience
5+ years of cybersecurity/forensics-related policy experience
Experience managing policy projects end-to-end
Experience presenting to senior government leadership
Experience developing and managing federal policy initiatives
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience managing complex policy projects
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:
Master’s degree in Public Policy, Cybersecurity, or related field
Experience supporting cybersecurity or intelligence policy initiatives

Pay Range:
Pay Range $116,350.00 - $210,325.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
