Job Title:             Warehouse Lead

FLSA Status:       Non-exempt 

Reports to:         Project Manager or designee

                

SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Lead provides administrative and logistical support, while documenting and reporting activities in cooperation with, and under the direction of the Program Manager or designee.  A CDL-A is required.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage current inventory for the NWRO and SWRO projects and support other programs/offices as required. 
  • Work within mandated IMMS to complete all inventory transactions including inventory bin designations, equipment/material orders, RMA and other transactional duties as required.  
  • Schedule and perform on-site inventory with customers as required.
  • Complete Purchase Request processes within designated ITS programs.
  • Complete all processes to have customer assets repaired by manufacturers (RMA).
  • Communicate with designated customer representatives to have all paperwork signed for inventory changes.
  • Maintains office records, both paper and electronic formats
  • Fleet management administrative responsibilities.
  • Tracking vehicle registrations, inspections, service/maintenance, repairs as required.
  • Assist with maintenance of traffic (MOT).
  • Assist with inter-office transportation of vehicles/equipment as required.
  • Customer service skills to maintain professionalism with all customers.
  • Work in office, warehouse and yard as required.
  • Minimal travel may be required <25%

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSE:

  • CDL A
  • Highschool diploma/GED
  • 2-4 years of previous inventory management experience preferred.
  • 2-4 years of logistics or technical experience working with electronic equipment preferred
  • Strictly follows policies and procedures. 
  • Must have aptitude to perform with extreme detail and accuracy.
  • Computer skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Access) 
  • 1 - 2 years’ experience in administrative support services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Experience in traffic monitoring, and/or construction experience, preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills: add, subtract and multiply in all units of measure.
  • Must be willing to sometimes work outdoors.
  • Experience with operating a bobcat/forklift preferred.
  • Must be able to lift to 40 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 75 pounds as needed.
