Instructional Assistant - Preschool

Job Type: Full Time for the 2026-27 school year

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:45am - 3:15pm

Pay: $16 an hour

Linton Hall School is seeking a dedicated Instructional Assistant to join our school grounded in Benedictine values. The ideal candidate will provide support to teachers in a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the classroom.

Essential Job Functions

• Assists with instruction and supervision of lessons or play
• Encourages appropriate behavior and participation during class time and events
• Monitors lunch and recess times as scheduled
• Gives individual assistance to students when appropriate in support of the lesson or activity
• Assists with clerical needs, routines of the school day, and all necessary cleanup
• Interacts with parents, administration, co-workers, and school community in a manner that is professional and reflective of the charism of the Benedictine Sisters of VA

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
