Purpose
Key Missions
- Follow and comply with all OSHA and company safety procedures Â
- Adhere to the IDEMIA Quality PolicyÂ
- Ensure all work is in compliance with ISO 9000:2000 standardsÂ
- Troubleshoot robotic systems, using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumaticsÂ
- Perform routine preventative maintenance of all manufacturing and facilities equipment Â
- Provide technical expertise to develop, maintain, test, trouble shoot and repair a wide range of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and devices Â
- Work with vendors on new equipment installation and utilize vendor resources for training Â
- Assist with departmental documentation such as training, preventative maintenance (PM), etc. Â
- Ownership and accountability for specific machinesÂ
- Develop and support departmental documentation such as training, preventative maintenance (PM), etc. Â
- Install, program or repair programmable controllers, robot controllers, end of arm tools and conveyors
- Assist with the development of Automation projects
- Modify computer-controlled robot movements
- Assist with training for Maintenance Technicians and Machine Operators

Profile & Other Information
- Graduate engineer in Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics or similar
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skillsÂ
- Experience working with robotics equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- PLC programmingÂ
- Knowledge on computer systems and networks
- Strong analytical and problem solving skillsÂ
- Effective communication skillsÂ
- Self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced and energetic environmentÂ
- Solid attention to detail, the ability to work independently or as part of a teamÂ
- Capable of reading machine schematics and diagramsÂ
- Knowledge of all applicable manufacturing equipment Â
