Envases Ohio is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician (PMT) to take ownership of our high-speed Draw & Redraw (DRD) manufacturing equipment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys solving complex mechanical challenges, and takes pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.
As a PMT, you will play a critical role in maintaining equipment performance, supporting production goals, and ensuring we deliver high-quality food-grade packaging products to our customers.
What You’ll Do
- Operate, set up, and support high-speed Draw & Redraw (DRD) manufacturing equipmentÂ
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, adjustments, and preventative maintenance to minimize downtimeÂ
- Complete machine changeovers, tooling adjustments, and equipment setupsÂ
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical issuesÂ
- Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments to improve reliability and efficiencyÂ
- Perform quality checks using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesÂ
- Partner with Production and Maintenance teams to identify root causes and implement solutionsÂ
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and quality documentationÂ
- Follow strict food safety, GMP, and safety standards in a regulated manufacturing environment
Requirements

What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED requiredÂ
- 2–4 years of experience working with industrial machinery, manufacturing equipment, or maintenance systemsÂ
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsÂ
- Hands-on experience with presses, tooling, hydraulics, pneumatics, or automated equipmentÂ
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical documentsÂ
- Experience using precision measuring toolsÂ
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementÂ
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or related fieldÂ
- Experience with Draw & Redraw (DRD) presses or high-speed metal packaging equipmentÂ
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, motor drives, and automated manufacturing systemsÂ
- Knowledge of food safety standards, GMP requirements, or BRCGS standardsÂ

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 90% of the shiftÂ
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Â
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, climb ladders, and work around industrial equipmentÂ
- Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toed footwearÂ
Schedule flexibility is required, including the ability to work extended hours, weekends, or schedule adjustments based on production needs. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position.
