Position Summary To lead in-depth troubleshooting and perform complex maintenance repairs across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. This technician acts as a subject matter expert for Maintenance I and II team members and may lead critical system upgrades or installations. Key Roles and Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on all manufacturing and plant equipment. Work with related equipment including hand tools, measuring tools, power tools, meters, saws, welding cutting equipment. Troubleshoot pneumatic, mechanical & PLC troubleshooting skills, electrical problems. Dismantle machines and equipment, replace defective parts, adjust feed mechanisms, adjust sensors. Install electrical raceways and bend & fit conduit. Work on special Engineering projects panel building , machine modifications Perform any other job duties as required. Assemble fixturing ,machine assemblies from complicated print and drawing machine manuals. Perform welding & cutting of fixtures and assemblies as required. Use hand tools: drill, mill, lathe as needed to make repairs and details as needed. Follows safety rules and keeps the work area clean and orderly. Qualifications Education High School diploma required. 3 years- 5 years maintenance experience. Functional Experience Experience working on mechanical equipment Experience working with pneumatic systems. Experience working with Electrical systems (voltages 24-120- 460vac) PLC troubleshooting skills. Electrical panel building skills. Basic Hydraulic skills Experience working with power tools. Welding cutting fabrication skills. Physical Requirements Works in a Factory environment with noise from the manufacturing environment. Exposure to moving equipment. Exposure to electrical shock. Possible injury due to carelessness around equipment. Sometimes lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds. Sometimes heights up to 40ft.
