The company’s automotive center is in Rochester Hills, Michigan which consists of Finance, Sales, Engineering, Testing, Program Management, Human Resources, Purchasing and IT. Position Summary Stages daily shipments to support customer requirements. Responsible for putting finished goods in their appropriate areas and maintaining FIFO. Staging material to assembly lines, and support machines, as well as putting finished product away all while maintaining FIFO. Key Roles and Responsibilities Stage shipments daily to current customer requirements. Required to maintain FIFO with all material internal and external (Finished Goods Shipped Out) Responsible for stacking, staging, drying and retrieving proper dunnage needed for MFG. Provide support to maintenance, 5S, engineering, sorts and other tasks needed with a forklift. Qualifications Education High School Diploma Functional Experience Must be able to complete the Hi-Lex given forklift test. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Must have excellent attention to detail, and multitasking skills. Industry Experience Familiar with factory environment, moving equipment, parts movement. Familiar with safety in a factory environment. Physical Requirements Often lifts, carries or moves objects up to 50lbs. Core Competencies Safety conscious. Good work ethic. Required Skills Minimum 1 year of forklift experience in a factory environment. Other Requirements Clothing and shoes must comply with current MIOSHA regulations and current dress code policy. Steel toed shoes required.
