Job Summary  

A Production Manager is responsible for assigning jobs to subcontractors ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process. They must be able to work in a team environment with the VP of Builder, Account representatives, Customer Service Associates, Installation Managers and Warehouse Manager by constant communication and adherence to Atlanta West policies and work flow procedures.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assign Work Orders for installation
  • Enter jobs in Schedule Pro
  • Communicate with subcontractors regarding job installation
  • Measure jobs for installation including totals and floor plan diagrams.
  • Perform inspections of all types of flooring and cabinets sold at AWC.
  • Maintain contact with customers on jobsites.
  • Communicate with project leaders and management to create best plan for servicing clients.
  • Communicate with main office daily via phone or electronically.
  • Pick up and deliver material if needed
  • Attend scheduled meetings when necessary.
  • Inform management and departments on progress.
  • Communicate with CSR’s regarding material issues
  • Complete necessary paperwork.

Requirements

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • High School Graduate, GED or relevant work experience
  • Speak and write English proficiently.
  • Must be able to use electronic equipment proficiently.
  • Capable of using standard construction and woodworking tools to install cabinets, countertops, cabinet trim, and perform flooring repairs
  • Must be able to read maps and understand vague directions.
  • Ability to work with vendors, customers, and other employees.
  • Must excel at working in a team environment.
  • This position requires that the person be an organized individual, who is self-motivated, and can work independently.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, subcontractors, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and or priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
  • Have knowledge of products offered by AWC on specific jobs.
  • Ability to calculate figures associated with the industry, use measurement tools, ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • This position may require out of state travel.

Training Requirements:

  • AWC Workorder Procedures
  • OSHA Training
  • Basic one-day RFMS Training
  • Repair training for flooring and cabinets

Physical Demands:

  • Required to walk around on jobsites, step up or down, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to inspect, repair or install product.
  • Required to ascend and descend multiple stairwells frequently.
  • Lifting up to 50-100 pounds.
  • Must pass DOT Physical and Drug Screen
  • Driving long distances in interstate highways.

Work Environment:

  • Loud to Very loud noise at jobsites.
  • Potential for intense heat or cold on jobsite
