The Continuous Improvement AnalystĀ is responsible forĀ driving operational excellence within the Distribution Center (DC) by managing daily performance systems, leading the 5S program, and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). A primary responsibilityĀ ofĀ this role is the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of SOPs and guidance documents to ensure process clarity, compliance, and operational consistency. This includes developing new documentation forĀ emergingĀ processes and updating existing materials to reflect changes. The role also delivers Continuous Improvement (CI) training during new hire orientation and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensureĀ timelyĀ communication of updates.Ā

The position requires strong accountability and ownership for assigned tasks and deliverables, ensuringĀ timelyĀ completion and accuracy. Job duties may change as business needs evolve, and flexibility is essential. This role involves time spent both in an office setting (sitting, computer work) and on the DC floor (walking, standing, engaging with operations).Ā Ā

Key Responsibilities:Ā 

SOP & Guidance Document ManagementĀ Ā 

  • Ā Lead the creation of SOPs and guidance documents for all new processes withinĀ the DC.Ā 

  • Ā Ensure all documentation is clear,Ā accurate, and user-friendly for operational teams.Ā 

  • Maintain and update existing SOPs and guidance documents to reflect process changes and compliance standards.Ā 

  • Collaborate with Distribution, GTS, and Product teams to review and approve updates promptly.Ā 

  • Implement a structured review and communication process to ensure all stakeholders are informed of changes.Ā Ā Ā 

Daily Management & Performance MonitoringĀ 

  • Ā Support and sustain Daily Management processes across all DC operations.Ā 

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) toĀ identifyĀ improvement opportunities.Ā 

  • Facilitate daily huddles and ensure action items are documented and completed.Ā Ā 

5S Program ManagementĀ 

  • Ā Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the 5S program throughoutĀ the DC.Ā 

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement in workplace organization.Ā 

  • Train and engage team members in 5S principles and best practices.Ā Ā 

Training & OrientationĀ 

  • Ā Deliver CI-focused training sessions during new hire orientation.Ā 

  • Develop andĀ maintainĀ training materials to ensure consistency and clarity.Ā 

  • Act as a resource for employees to reinforce CI principles and tools.Ā Ā 

Ā 

Qualifications:Ā 

  • Ā Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.Ā 

  • 2+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean, or related roles within a distribution or manufacturing environment.Ā 

  • Strong knowledge of Lean principles, 5SĀ methodology, and process documentation.Ā 

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills for training and team engagement.Ā 

  • ProficiencyĀ in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CI tools (Kaizen, PDCA, etc.).Ā 

  • PreviousĀ experience in SOP creation and updatesĀ required.Ā 

  • Technical writing experience is a plus.Ā Ā

  • Ability toĀ lift upĀ to 40Ā lbsĀ occasionally for handling documents, materials, or equipment.Ā 

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment with varying temperatures.Ā
