Position Purpose:

As an Electrical Assembler I, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by assisting in the fabrication, preparation, and setup of jobs. Your primary responsibility will be to support control fabrication, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products to our clients within budget constraints. 
 
 
Essential Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Assembler I, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing team, working both independently and collaboratively to fabricate, prepare, and set up jobs. You will support the control panel fabrication process to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products to our clients within budget constraints. This role may require overtime to meet company orders. 
 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Basic electrical schematic understanding. Basic understanding of electrical theory and practical application. 
  • Basic mechanical drawing understanding.  
  • Demonstrated manual dexterity and proficiency with a variety of hand tools.  
  • Experience with building a variety of assemblies 
  • Solid background in electro-mechanical low volume high-quality production  
  • A positive and proactive attitude towards work and problem-solving.  
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or experience in single-piece flow lines is advantageous.  
  • Basic Electrical theory would be advantageous. 

 

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is required to frequently walk, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, stoop, and kneel each day. Specific requirements are:

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to pull or push up to 50 lbs.

 

Work conditions of the role are:

  • Work conditions may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements such as dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
  • Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks which require following basic safety precautions.
  • Must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work within or visit areas where required. This includes, safety glasses, reflective vest, ear plugs, safety toed shoes, and other PPE as required by the location.
