Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver in Lititz, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to use communication and technology skills while responding to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or staff at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete incident reports according to site requirements.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating with property management, tenants, and emergency responders regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
