ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Work alone or as a team member in performing inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a large variety of general aviation aircraft.

DUTIES:

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair aircraft avionics, electrical, communication, navigation, and autopilot systems. 
  • Perform operational and functional testing to identify system malfunctions and determine corrective actions. 
  • Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, maintenance manuals, and technical data to isolate and resolve discrepancies. 
  • Use specialized test equipment to inspect, evaluate, and verify proper operation of avionics systems and components. 
  • Document maintenance actions, troubleshooting findings, and corrective measures in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures. 
  • Collaborate with maintenance technicians, inspectors, and flight crews to identify and resolve aircraft system issues efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. 
  • Diagnose intermittent and complex avionics discrepancies on a variety of turbine and piston aircraft, ensuring timely return-to-service for customers.



Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent and Basic Electronics Training
  • Preferred: Avionics or Aircraft Electronics Training

Licensing/Registration/Certification

  • Required: Valid Driver’s License
  • Preferred: FCC License

Experience

  • Required: 1 Year installing avionics in general aviation aircraft
  • Knowledge of Garmin systems preferred
