This position's primary responsibility is to promote ACNC Clinical Research in the community in order to identify potential study participants. The recruitment team ensures high quality participant screenings, maintains database(s) of interested participants, meets the Investigator's enrollment goals and complies with IRB regulations.

Required Education:

High school diploma or GED or equivalent

Recommended Education:

Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.

Required Work Experience:

High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of relevant experience, or 4 years of experience in lieu of a diploma/GED.

Description

1. Conducts Informed consent process and access eligibility criteria and makes participant charts prior to initial visit.

2. Presents and tracks potential eligible participants to study Investigator and maintains a waiting list for enrollment.

3. Informs potential participants of their qualification or disqualification for specific studies.

4. Schedules initial appointments and reschedules appointments as needed.

5. Fields participant phone calls, mails written study instructions and appointment reminders, Maintains contact with families via phone, birthdays, holidays.

6. Follows script(s) for screening enrollees and completes database entry of screening information. Notifies enrollee when they become potentially eligible for participation in a study.

7. Participates in fairs and health related classes or events to promote the ACNC and study participation.

8. Performs other related duties as assigned.
