Qualifications

What You’ll Do

• Clean and sanitize industrial food production equipment to FDA standards using high-pressure hoses, hot water, chemicals, and tools.

• Assist with disassembly and reassembly of equipment after cleaning.

• Coordinate with production teams to schedule cleaning and line shutdowns per the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).

• Follow OSHA guidelines for chemical safety, PPE, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.

• Maintain clean plant floor surfaces using scrubbers, mops, and brooms.

• Support food safety and compliance programs to ensure high-quality production standards.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required.

• At least 1 year of experience in an industrial environment preferred.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

• Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.

• Willingness to be trained in bloodborne pathogen procedures and chemical safety.

• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs. routinely, work at heights (scissor lift), and handle repetitive cleaning and reassembly tasks.

• Comfortable working in environments that may be wet, hot, cold, or noisy.

• Regular and reliable attendance.
