Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Full-Time | $26/Hour

What You'll Do

As an LPN with HealthCARE Express, you will play an active role in hands-on patient care and daily clinical operations. Duties include obtaining and documenting vital signs such as temperature, heart rate, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, and weight. You will also insert saline locks and perform both basic and advanced cardiac life support.

Clinical responsibilities include applying sterile dressings, removing sutures and staples, assisting with pelvic examinations, performing EKGs, cleansing and irrigating wounds, administering oral medications, and applying splints. Splinting may include volar, thumb Spica, ulnar gutter, and posterior leg splints.

You will initiate routine laboratory testing, collect mucous membrane swabs for cultures, administer and read TB skin tests, perform venipuncture, and administer medications through intramuscular, subcutaneous, intravenous, and intradermal routes.

Team members must be willing to cross-train and assist with responsibilities outside their usual scope when needed. This position also requires consistently demonstrating and acting in accordance with our organization's values, along with completing other duties that support the vision and mission of HealthCARE Express.

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time position
• $26 per hour
• 12-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays

Orientation & Training

All newly hired team members are required to attend orientation and training in Texarkana, Texas. When applicable, travel and lodging arrangements will be coordinated and paid for by HealthCARE Express.
