The Opportunity
In this role, you’ll provide both clinical and administrative support to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services. You’ll work closely with providers and patients to support smooth daily operations, maintain efficient workflows, and contribute to positive patient outcomes through attentive, compassionate care.
What You’ll Do
Patient Care & Clinical Support
- Obtain and record patient medical histories, vitals, and test resultsÂ
- Prepare treatment and exam rooms for clinical examinationsÂ
- Assist practitioners with medical procedures and patient careÂ
- Administer medications under physician supervisionÂ
- Assist with patient transfers pre- and post-procedureÂ
- Deliver compassionate support to patients and familiesÂ
- Receive and direct phone callsÂ
- Schedule appointments and check in patientsÂ
- Collect and update patient information, ensuring all forms and consents are completedÂ
- Prepare equipment and clean instrumentsÂ
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and stock exam rooms appropriatelyÂ
- Maintain strict patient confidentialityÂ
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHAÂ
- Complete all required annual training by assigned deadlinesÂ
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environmentÂ
- Are highly organized and detail-orientedÂ
- Communicate clearly and effectively with patients and team membersÂ
- Can balance clinical and administrative responsibilities with easeÂ
- Take pride in delivering compassionate, high-quality careÂ
- Work well both independently and as part of a teamÂ
- High School Diploma or GED requiredÂ
- Medical Assistant certification preferredÂ
- At least one (1) year of experience in a healthcare settingÂ
- Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skillsÂ
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareÂ
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detailÂ
- Basic knowledge of clerical procedures, recordkeeping, and filing systemsÂ
- Ability to work independentlyÂ
- Knowledge of medical terminology, spelling, and office ethicsÂ
- Understanding of patient confidentiality requirementsÂ
