Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our PICC Team Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.Every day, as a highly-skilled and specialized nurse, you are responsible for the assessment, insertion, maintenance, and removal of Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICCs) and Midline catheters in various patient populations (e.g., adult, pediatric, neonatal, depending on the facility).To thrive in this vital role, you will possess advanced knowledge of vascular anatomy, sterile technique, infection prevention, patient education, and troubleshooting related to central line access devices. The PICC Nurse works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based vascular access care.

Job Requirements

  • Registered Nurse: AR, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days and
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 12 - months
  • Vascular Access Board Certified (VA-BC) credential preferred or commitment to obtain within 1-2 years of hire.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of recent acute care nursing experience (Critical Care, ED, Medical/Surgical, Oncology).

  • 1-2 years of direct PICC insertion experience utilizing ultrasound guidance strongly preferred.
