Additional Information:

Leads the implementation and facilitation of monthly PSO professional coding quality reviews. Performs trending via data analysis to target education initiatives for providers and coders. Focus on continuous improvement of professional coding and compliance that align with AC long term goals.

Description

1. Generates, reviews, and interprets reports and dashboards related to coding activities, including volume, turnaround time, denials, and subdivision trends, to identify areas for improvement.

2. Performs coding audits and provides feedback, clarification, and education to support coder accuracy and consistency.

3. Utilizes Epic Systems and Solventum systems to meet monthly charge and quantity expectations.

4. Supports the coordination of coding education needs for coders and providers, ensuring questions and training needs are addressed.

5. Processes and submits code corrections and resubmissions in alignment with established workflows and guidelines.

6. Collaborates with the PSO Professional Coding Manager on activities that promote coding accuracy, productivity, and compliance, without serving in a supervisory capacity.

7. Assists the Director by contributing to the development, review, and recommendation of coding-related policies and procedures.

8. Participates in hiring and onboarding processes by providing subject-matter expertise and operational support as requested.

10. Performs other related duties as assigned to support departmental operations.
