Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Ā 

Ā 

The Program Representative:Ā 

  • Learns about Youth Villages' programs, improves marketing skills, and keeps abreast of competitionĀ 

  • Meets or exceeds census goals in an assigned regionĀ 

  • Builds positive relationships while pursuing case referrals through informational meetings, open houses, trade and agency shows, and other community outreachĀ 

  • Establishes relationships with key community providers (including but not limited to: psychologists, psychiatrists, employee assistance agencies, insurance carriers, mental health centers, schools, community groups, juvenile court personnel and juvenile court judges, human service workers and social workers)Ā 

  • Identifies new referral sources and builds relationships with existing referrersĀ 

  • Responds to customer service needs and monitors customer satisfactionĀ 

  • Completes pre-placement assessments for the purpose of securing funding and communicates progress and barriers to the appropriate customersĀ 

  • Identifies key state-level contacts for the purpose of assessing state-wide mental health services and the needs of children and familiesĀ 

  • Maintains ongoing contact with key referral sources through presentations, meetings, phone calls, emails, mailings, and other outreachĀ 

  • Engages in mass mailing/e-mailing, cold calls, and other efforts to make individuals aware of Youth VillagesĀ 

  • Manages a large base of diverse referral sources and seeks to understand each referral source's needs to facilitate the referral and assessment processĀ 

  • Performs other duties as assignedĀ

Additional Information:Ā Ā 

  • Schedule is flexible and non-traditional as it is based around the availability of youth and families served

  • Applicants must possess a current, valid driver’s license, an automobile for work purposes, and proof of auto insurance

  • Community-based staff will be reimbursed for applicable mileage

Ā Ā 

Salary:

  • $51,000 - $59,000 per year based on education and clinical license

Qualifications:Ā 

  • Master’s degree in a social services discipline (preferred)Ā 

  • Bachelor's degree in social services field (required)Ā 

    • Degrees that can be considered include: social work, drug and alcohol education or counseling, psychology, criminal justice, guidance counseling, or marriage and family therapy (others subject to review)Ā 

  • Experience with community-based services (required)Ā 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detailĀ Ā 

  • Excellent written, verbal, and oral skillsĀ Ā 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyĀ Ā 

  • Basic computer knowledgeĀ Ā 

  • Ability to maintain a flexible scheduleĀ
