About The Position

 We are seeking a skilled OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens position at a Hospital in Arkansas. This 7-day assignment, with ongoing needs for 1 week per month, offers a Monday to Friday clinic schedule with 24-hour call, starting on 05/25/2025. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing both OB/GYN clinic duties and OB call responsibilities. This role involves working clinic hours Monday through Friday, with 24-hour call from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM the following day. The physician must be prepared to handle deliveries during clinic hours if necessary, rescheduling patients as needed. The hospital uses the Epic electronic health record system.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care in a clinic setting

• Manage 24-hour OB call responsibilities

• Perform deliveries as needed, including during clinic hours

• Conduct prenatal and postnatal care

• Offer gynecological examinations and treatments

• Handle obstetric emergencies

• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation

• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure quality patient care

• Reschedule clinic patients as necessary when called for deliveries
