PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the Maintenance Manager and/or Facility Manager to establish a program to eliminate downtime in trouble areas
- Repair production equipment safely and as quickly as possible after a breakdown
- Work on assigned projects
- Fabricate and install new equipment
- Maintain machinery according to Preventative Maintenance Program
- Troubleshoot equipment
- Utilize safe work habits
- Wear appropriate PPE
- Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Journeyman's License and/or a degree in electronics or mechanical engineering
- Ability to pass a drug screen & background check
- Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
- Five years experience in one or more of the following trades:Â Millwright, Building Maintenance, Machinist, Electrical/Electronic, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic
- Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, & Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
- ​Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
- ​Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly
- Ability to read precision gauges
- Ability to use hand tools correctly and safely
- Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required
- Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
