Summary of Job Duties:

Responsible for administering, simulating and recording radiation treatment set-ups to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist.

Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Operations Director; responsible for radiation therapy procedures, dose calculations, chart and routine consistency checks on the treatment machine and simulator during a treatment day, five days a week. Incumbent is subject to overtime and call back as required by the center.


Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or Associates degree in Radiation Therapy and two years experience in health care environment. Current registration as a radiation therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Current Licensure as a Radiation Therapist with the Arkansas Department of Health.

Current certification in Basic CPR.
