Job Description

We are currently seeking an Electronics Assembler who will be responsible for building cable assemblies for SEAKR hardware per IPC standards. The candidate will primarily be responsible for crimping and soldering wires into back shells, in order to make cables used in for the testing of flight hardware. The candidate will be a part of the manufacturing team and therefore may perform additional soldering and manufacturing task as directed by supervisor. It is critical that the candidate be able to read and interpret engineering drawing and travelers along with having some experience building cable assemblies.

The Cable Assembly Technician is responsible for the quality fabrication of SEAKR support hardware and cables. This is a full-time non-exempt position in which the work is performed under general supervision by the Supervisor, Manufacturing and is evaluated on results obtained.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Crimp and solder cable contacts in accordance with IPC standards.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Cut and bundle wires in accordance with technical drawings.聽

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Read and interpret schematic and cable drawings.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Verify quality of assembly prior to handing to Quality Assurance.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Effectively communicate manufacturing concerns with engineering.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Keep knowledge of manufacturing processes up to date.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure that knowledge of SEAKR rules and regulations is up to date.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure assigned manufacturing equipment is kept in a high state of readiness.

Qualifications

Education or Formal Training

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 High School Diploma

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 IPC certification in soldering per J-STD-001 or IPC-WHMA-A-620, preferred by not required

Experience

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 2+ years experience in a high reliability production environment.

Additional Information

Compensation: Base pay聽range is $25-30/hour depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus. SEAKR offers a variety of paid leave, such as vacation, sick, bereavement, and FMLA.聽
