Young Life requires all employees to sign a Statement of Faith. Douglas County, Colorado is a growing suburban community with over 30,000 teenagers and strong ministry opportunities. The Mission Staff role involves learning to lead and participate in effective Young Life ministry through training and direct field ministry experience. Responsibilities include spiritual development, leadership development, resource development, direct ministry, and ministry support. Staff will develop a personal growth plan, maintain church relationships, lead teams in spiritual development, recruit and train volunteer leaders, raise financial support, network with community adults, engage in contact work, lead clubs and camping strategies, adhere to policies, manage finances, maintain records, communicate professionally, and set strategic ministry plans. Training is available through missionwide, regional, and area programs. A college degree is preferred. Required qualifications include proven relational skills with kids and adults, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
